At Evolution Safety Resources, we understand that the construction industry can be physically and mentally demanding. With suicide prevention month coming to an end, we want to reflect on the incredible initiative launched by ESR’s team – “show up, listen, support”. This initiative aims to highlight the critical issue of mental health within our field and share ESR’s unwavering commitment to suicide prevention and overall well-being.

🛠️ The Construction Industry & Mental Health:
Each monthly session is an educational journey where every team member takes the floor for 10-15 minutes to discuss what they’ve learned in the past month. The topics are diverse, ranging from incident response lessons and patterns of non-conformance in the field to upcoming changes in regulations and interesting case law in the world of health & safety. This open forum allows us to tap into the wealth of knowledge our team gains while serving our clients. It’s a celebration of our dedication to safety, growth, and camaraderie. We take a break from our busy schedules to come together, share insights from the field, and identify areas of risk that can benefit our clients and strengthen our company.

💪 Our Commitment to Suicide Prevention:
At Evolution Safety Resources, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and safe environment for all our team members and industry peers. We believe mental health is as crucial as physical safety on the job site. To this end, we have implemented comprehensive mental health programs and training for our employees.

❤️ Resources for Assistance:
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health challenges, know that you are not alone. There are resources available to provide support, including:

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255)
Crisis Text Line: Text “HOME” to 741741
We encourage all industry professionals to reach out and seek help when needed. Let’s break the stigma surrounding mental health and create a culture of support.

🤝 Join Us in This Important Mission:
We invite our industry peers to join us in prioritizing mental health in the construction sector. Together, we can make a significant impact and ensure that everyone in our industry has access to the support and resources they need. Together, we can build not only structures but also a stronger, healthier construction community. Let’s work together to build a construction industry where mental health is as valued as safety on the job site. Together, we can create positive change. 💪🏽💙🏗️
